Itinerary: Rest stop, on own, Garden State Parkway Rest Area.

11:00 a.m. Arrive the Culinary Institute of America, America’s center for culinary education since 1946, Hyde Park, New York.

11:30 a.m. Enjoy your gourmet lunch, included, at the American Bounty Restaurant with its Continental Cuisine. Your menu will be:

Mixed Greens with Coach Farms Goat Cheese & Creamy Avocado Ranch Dressing
Red Wine Braised Ribs with Red Cabbage and Spaetzle
Chocolate Peanut Better Terrine with Toffee Sauce and Chocolate Sorbet
Coffee, Tea, and Iced Tea


After lunch, free time to explore the Campus' bookstore and bakery.

1:30 p.m. Arrive the Franklin D. Roosevelt Home National Historic Site in Hyde Park. Lifelong home of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, includes gravesite and Rose Garden. Roosevelt Library/Museum are also located on the grounds. Learn about the only President elected to four terms. You can enjoy the Home, the Library and Museum.

4:30 p.m. Depart for home.

8-9:00 p.m. Approximate arrival home.
