Rest stop, on own, Pennsylvania Turnpike Rest Area.9:30 a.m. Arrive the Gettysburg Visitors Center at the Gettysburg National Military Park. The Visitors Center offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and culture of the Civil War and the 1863 Battle of Gettysburg.
10:00 a.m. You will have the opportunity to view the NEW Cyclorama Experience – a colossal painting in the round, longer than a football field. It will immerse you in one of history’s most pivotal moments: Pickett’s Charge on the last day of the Battle of Gettysburg.
11:00 a.m. Explore the visitors center and shops. After complete exploration of the Center, you will leave there with an understanding of the scope and magnitude of the sacrifices made by the soldiers and civilians alike.
12-12:45 p.m. – Lunch, included, at General Pickett’s Buffet in downtown Gettysburg. Enjoy delicious home-cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere.
1-3:30 p.m. General Meade, renowned Civil Reenactor, presents a two-hour guided tour of the historic Gettysburg Battlefield from his perspective. See the actual locations of the different stages of the battle. It is here 90,000 Union soldiers engaged 70,000 Confederate troops...and won.
4:00 p.m. Depart for home.

8:30 – 9:00 p.m. Approximate arrival home.
