Itinerary:
Rest Stop, on own, I-95 rest stop.

11:30 a.m. Arrive Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens in Virginia.

11:45 p.m. Enjoy Lunch at the Mount Vernon Inn. There is an entrée choice:

• Honey Fried Chicken - homemade mashed potatoes and fresh garden vegetables
• Roast Beef, with gravy - homemade mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables
• Virginia Sugar Baked Ham, sliced ham with a Honey-dijon sauce served with homemade peanut stuffing and fresh garden vegetables

Following lunch, you can tour the estate and burial place of George and Martha Washington. The mansion has been restored to appear as it did during the last year of Washington’s life. You can tour the tomb, gardens and many outbuildings.

4:00 p.m. Depart Mount Vernon.

8:30-9:00 p.m. Approximate arrival home.
